WHAT WE MAKE

Commercial Signs for Offices, Units and Business Parks

We design, manufacture and install commercial signs for offices, business parks, industrial units, warehouses, showrooms and trade counters across the UK. Using a range of fabrication techniques in our own workshop, we produce everything from a single entrance sign to a coordinated scheme for a whole site. For retail frontages, see our shop front signs.

Building and fascia signs

Illuminated and non-illuminated signs, built-up letters and flat-cut lettering for the front of commercial buildings, so the business can be seen and identified from the road. Interior office signs can be matched to the same scheme.

HOW IT WORKS

How a Commercial Signage Project Runs

1

Site survey

Most commercial signs start with a site survey. We measure the building and the plots for any freestanding signs, check access and fixings, and note anything that could affect installation, such as cabling for illumination. If the building is still under construction, hoarding signage can carry the branding until the permanent signs go up.

2

Visual, fabrication and fitting

Our design team produces a visual on a photograph of your building, so you can approve the look before manufacture. The signs are then fabricated in our own workshop on industry-leading machinery, and our own team installs them. They hold CSCS, IPAF and PASMA accreditation, which managing agents and principal contractors will usually ask for before work at height.

Every site to one standard

For multi-site businesses and landlords with several tenants, we can supply a consistent specification across every location and keep the drawings on file for future additions.

Materials Built for Business Premises

Exterior commercial signs need to look right for years in British weather. Aluminium and composite panels hold their finish outdoors, acrylic gives crisp, deep lettering and diffuses light evenly on illuminated work, and printed or cut vinyl is used for graphics and information panels. We will recommend materials to suit the location, the budget and how long the signage needs to last.

What Affects the Price of Commercial Signs

Size and number

Illumination

Materials

Access and height

The size and number of signs set the starting point. Illumination adds fabrication and cabling. Aluminium, composite and acrylic sit at different price points, and the height of the fixing decides whether a tower or MEWP is needed for the install.

Send us photographs of the building or site, rough measurements and your brand guidelines, and we will come back with a visual and an itemised price.

QUESTIONS

Commercial Signs FAQs

Do commercial signs need planning permission?

Most exterior signs on commercial buildings need advertisement consent from the local council, and illuminated signs almost always do. Listed buildings and conservation areas add further requirements. We will tell you what is likely to apply at survey.

Can you supply signs for every unit on a business park?

Yes. We can produce a coordinated set of totems, unit numbers and tenant panels so the whole site looks consistent.

Do you install as well as manufacture?

Yes. Design, fabrication and installation are all handled by our own team.

Can you replace or refresh existing signage?

Yes. We can reface existing sign trays and totems where the structure is sound, or replace them completely where it is not.

Do you work outside Berkshire?

Yes. We are based in Bracknell, but we manufacture and install commercial signs nationwide.

Can you match our brand guidelines?

Yes. Send us your guidelines and we will match colours, typefaces and logo proportions.
